Flora
Chorca Dhuibhne was published by Oidhreacht
Chorca Dhuibhne to great acclaim some years ago. But the book was
only a small element of a much larger project, consisting of colour
images, slides and written information, contained in 19 individual folders.
This archive is also available for consultation by appointment. Contact
the curator for further information.
The
museum also has a small library of books, videos and cassette tapes.
Many of the books came from the libraries of the late Fr. Ó Ciosáin,
p.p. Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, and of the late Michael Long, Naturalist
and Publican, Dingle. It consists mainly of books of interest to Irish
Language scholars, historians and naturalists.
